Session intakeWhat is a Massage Session Like?

Massage therapy is a systematic manipulation of the soft and connective tissue for the purpose of normalizing them. Touch is the core ingredient of massage. A massage therapist will primarily use their hands and forearms to manipulate the tissue.

You will be asked to fill out a health history form and your therapist will review your history and ask about other issues in your life before you begin your massage. You will be covered with a sheet and possibly a blanket at all times, as providing comfort and relaxation and a feeling of secure, well-being is a primary goal.

After your session your therapist will talk with you about what to expect and how you can enhance the benefits of your massage over the next day or two.
